WHAT'S AI? — COMPANION PRACTICE FILES
whatsaibook.com

Welcome. This is the practice pack the book promised: the Daily Grind's
sales numbers, reviews, emails, and fact sheet, plus the prompt patterns
and the retrospective exercise. Everything here matches what the chapters
say, down to the dollar. If a chapter quotes a figure, you can check it
against these files — that is rather the point of the book.

WHAT'S IN THE PACK

daily-grind-sales-week.csv
One week of sales (June 22-28). This is the exact table from
Example 18.1, so every claim in that example is checkable here:
Sunday's $6.66 per drink, the $1,888 weekend average, the $1,433
weekday average. Use it for Chapter 18's paste-a-table exercises.

daily-grind-sales-month.csv
Four weeks, same columns (June 1-28). Week one totals $10,612 and
week four totals $11,398 — the two weeks Example 18.3 compares.
Use it for the Chapter 15 chunking exercises and the Chapter 18
    Monday digest.

daily-grind-reviews.txt
A month of customer reviews, numbered, for Chapter 17's
reviews-to-repair-list and Chapter 24's review radar. Fair warning:
one of these reviews matters more than all the others combined.
Chapter 24 explains which, and why summarizers miss it.

daily-grind-emails.txt
The three inbox emails from Chapter 24's front desk section —
a complaint, a catering inquiry, and a job applicant. Draft replies,
then edit them. The assistant drafts; you send.

daily-grind-fact-sheet.txt
The shop fact sheet for Chapter 24's FAQ answerer. Lines 1-7 are
the ones from Example 24.6, verbatim. Ask it questions the sheet
can't answer, too — the refusal is the feature.

prompt-patterns.txt
The ten prompt skeletons from Appendix A, copy-paste ready.
    Living versions at prompttool.co.

retrospective-pack.txt
A month of the assistant's output containing the three planted
mistakes from Chapter 24's retrospective. Find them before you
open the answer key. No peeking.

retrospective-answer-key.txt
The three mistakes, where they hide, and which habit catches each.
    Matches Appendix F.

HOUSE FACTS, IN CASE YOU FORGOT
Lattes are $4.50. Sales tax is 7%. Two lattes with tax is $9.63.
If your assistant says otherwise, you know what to do.

Everything here works with any AI assistant — that was the point.
